Before finding out I have problem with my kidneys, I had been taking a lot of different vitamin supplements. I've quit taking most for now. However, they were so expensive that I hate to waste them. Have you done any videos regarding which vitamins are safe and which ones to avoid?

I have been drinking a lot of Electrolyte Water because I though it would be hydrating. Lately I have been wondering if it is safe for kidneys because of what is added to the water. The tap water where I live is very hard and tastes terrible. Should I be worried about electrolyte water?

It’s the sugars & carbs (which turn to sugar/glucose) that negative7affect my kidneys, not meat. Proven by my blood test results. I’d be cautious about taking this advice, lotta smart docs say the opposite.

What if I have protein one a day 4oz only?

As a senior I was taking D3 and K2 , but when I went for my mammogram I had some suspicious calcification and have to go for a biopsy, my question is, can k2 cause it? Is the only new supplement that I was taking, maybe I’m just being too cautious, any information? I can’t seem to find any!

Dr. Hashmi, please answer my question must .im a kidney transplant patient from last one year and i'm the iga nephropathy patient and after the transplant diagnosis type 2 diabetes i have protein in urine from last 4 weeks and its increased now day by day .im doning intermittent fasting 16:8 from February before i was taken moderate animal and plant base both diet.on that time my urine protein and creatinine ratio was 6.8 or 8.4 like that,and my egfr was 52 and now 42but when i join your channels and follow the plant base diet from one week suddenly my urine creatinine ratio is 27.91. I don't know where i made a mistake. Please help me.what i do now i want to get my kidney back to normal.help me i live in uk but nobody want to listen to me.here,the nhs system is totally useless, and they said the diet is no matter in this disease

There are some good point keep in mind, do not believe in studies cuz most of the time, they are paid for a purpose. You also have to start your mind and the cells will follow you. Do not let Potassium scare you cuz people had issue to begin with are low potassium, ever heard of Potassium / Sodium pump ? plus Sodium often refers refine sodium chloride where traditionally sea salt where there are full spectrum of salt which was lacking of to have your adrenal and kidneys issue.

Thank God for cannabis, I am at stage 3b ckd, I'm not really scared but I'm very concerned about what am I going to look like and weigh when I'm 50 if I even live that long, I'm 40 and I was diagnosed stage 3b ckd a couple of months ago and my weight went from 140 to 122 in 3 months. I now wear small waist size in boxers and 30-32 waist in pants and shorts and all my extra large shirts are way too big and i had to get mediums so they will be perfect length on me.

Hi - I just wanted to say that even though you gave me a lot of information that I didn't know about CKD, I felt kind of cheated at the same time because the subject of this video is 'How do you lower creatinine and protein in the urine?' - and I didn't hear any particular foods that would help me to do that. I think I have protein in my urine and my creatinine is high in my blood and so is my urea nitrogen and some other things are out of whack and my doctor doesn't care about anything that I tell him and he is world renowned - he has been my doctor since I was 42 years of age and now I'm 79 years of age and yet he hasn't answered one question that I've had about any of these new results on my tests in a nine month period. He is an internist but he works at a university hospital medical center and he has never even suggested that he wants to refer me to a kidney doctor!!! What should I do? I feel that he changed towards me because of my advancing age - that I will be dead in the next 5, 10, 15 or 20 years anyway, so what does it matter? I'd really like to hear from you if you have any advice for me. He hasn't even put me on a diet restriction - I did that on my own and I'm not even a doctor!!! Likewise the linking of dietary cholesterol to heart disease, which has been disproven. Arterial plaques result from oxidative damage to the artery walls and the body’s own attempt to repair the damage with cholesterol produced by the liver.

An overly intense session causes muscolar damange, kidney tubular injury, suggesting the occurrence of kidney damage. The muscle regenerates, but what about the injury caused to the kidney? Is there a way to measure how bad it is? and how do we reverse it? Do the kidneys regenerate tissues almost like muscles?
